The three book series "A Prepper Is Cast Adrift" told the story about how the survivors arrived at the plantation. This new stand alone series "The Apocalyptic Rifle" tells a fanciful tale of how the preppers plan on relocating the old barge and going on a trading and survival mission on the Alabama River.
