Publisher Marketing: Make Your Own Healthy Fast Food at Home. The term ' Healthy Fast Food' might be an oxymoron like saying 'Jumbo Shrimp, ' Do you agree? In our fast paced, over worked, little time society, many of us have to buy prepackaged foods which may be missing a lot of the natural ingredients and nutrients that our bodies need to be healthy. Not to mention the high cost of buying these not so healthy convenience foods at your local grocery store. And it's almost impossible to find prepackaged foods that follow the guidelines of your particular diet plan, for example, the Paleo Diet. But what's the alternative? Well, canning and preserving food has been a way of life for hundreds of years. As one who has grown up with canning and preserving in my childhood, I was happy to discover that I could choose to buy nutritious foods that follow the Paleo plan and do canning and preserving of these foods at home. This idea allows anyone to stick with the plan, eat healthier, and always have the right foods available to eat when you need them. Kind of like healthy fast food, Right? Inside you will find my all time Paleo Canning and Preserving favorites which are also gluten free. Are you ready to make and preserve your own healthy convenience foods at home? ... ENJOY!! Contributor Bio:  Johnson, Amber When Amber was 20 (and having been married for just a few months), she asked her grandmother, an avid, award-winning quilter, to teach her how to quilt. Over the period of many, many months, they walked through every step of the quiltmaking process. Amber is so very grateful to her grandmother for passing on the quilting legacy. Amber nurtured her love of quilting over the next few years and spent many hours dreaming of opening a quilt shop. But then she had a baby and realized that life wasn't just about her and her husband. She knew she didn't want to spend long days running a store. She wondered what she could do that would let her be a stay-at-home mom and express her creative side at the same time. Pattern designing seemed to be the perfect fit. Gigi's Thimble, her pattern-design company, was born in the latter part of 2009. It's named after Amber's grandmother, whom Amber's children call "Gigi." When Amber first started quilting, her grandmother gave her a thimble. To this day, with every push of the needle, the thimble reminds Amber of their precious quiltmaking lessons. Amber also has a quilting blog called A Little Bit Biased, where she shares her love of color, design, and fabric with the online community. She lives in Alpine, Utah, and works part-time at a fabric store, where she loves teaching classes and drooling over new shipments of fabric. But for her, the best part is helping people pick out fabrics, figure out measurements, and find inspiration. She loves seeing what others are working on and helping to spread the joy of quilting to those just getting started.
