The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Washington Irving
In the small city of Tarry Town, near the haunted valley of Sleepy Hollow, two men compete for the hand of the beautiful Katrina Van Tassel. Ichabod Crane is a melancholy schoolteacher who seeks social and financial privileges and Brom Van Brunt is a rough but heroic fellow from the town. Now, the fight is reaching its peak as Ichabod gets ready to propose to Katrina after a party in the farm of the Van Tassels. But, on a dark and dangerous night as this, and on a place so close to Sleepy Hollow, there may be greater things to fear than failure.
