Volunteer Park is a jewel in the Seattle Parks and Recreation system. Designed at the turn of the last century by the celebrated Olmsted Bros., Volunteer Park has served many generations for over a century. Looking toward the next century, how can we make its operation more environmentally sustainable? How can we use today's technology to ensure that future development and design incorporate a sustainable model?
