As Mike grew into young adulthood, due to his desire to fit in, he started hanging out with the wrong crowd and making many poor decisions. As a result, at the age of 20, Mike was incarcerated in Mississippi for eight years on a plantation. On his third night in jail, Mike saw something that changed his life forever. As a result, Mike solidified his relationship with Christ and discovered his new perspective, forcing him to focus on his purpose: Inspire, Educate, and empower. After being released from prison in 2009, Mike returned to Cleveland on a mission.
