Benjamin Poe has a baby brother and Benjamin's mother asks him to look after his baby brother while she works from home. Baby is put into a play pen with a toy giraffe and he is told to imagine animals in a zoo. When Baby gets cranky Benjamin asks if he can take baby outside. Later on take him to the beach. Benjamin's mother is distracted and agrees without really listening to him. They go to the beach for a look. When Benjamin's mother finishes her work she can't find them, they are missing. After a short while they come back and she asks Benjamin would he like to go to the beach? She is shocked to find out they have already been on their own! This Benjamin Poe story is for younger children of 1-3 years. Children will love the bright pictures and simple story and large print.
