L. T. McCain resigned early from Naval Intelligence because he was tired of the game. Ten years later, all his hard work has helped him reach his goal of living a normal life. He loves his job at the hospital, and he is dating the prettiest girl in Memphis. But the last couple of weeks have been anything but normal. The hospital is not happy with how he handled a dangerous situation. Now he's being drawn into investigating the disappearance of someone he hardly knows. To make matters worse, he's a Yankee.
