From the very beginning of the whole fiasco, Virgil Calahan, Jr. - Cal to his friends - hated Crowley. There were plenty of reasons, Crowley was self-centered, rude, and happened to steal away the love of Cal's life. Cal could have overlooked all of the man's shortcomings if it had not been for Crowley's romantic involvement with Cherry. Add to it the horrible truth of Cal's romance, the realization that his family is falling apart at the seams, and one pissed off divine being, and Cal is having one hell of a week.
