How do we find hope in the face of suffering? 'The Wreck Redeemed' explores this question through the stories of children, adolescents and adults who have attended the author's counselling practice. Biblical principles, along with some ideas from narrative therapy, provide a hopeful framework for responding to suffering related to childhood fears, domestic abuse, depression, adolescent behaviour problems and more. 'The Wreck Redeemed' proposes that suffering, whether experienced by Christian believers or those who do not believe, can be redeemed. This redemption provides a foundation for moving forward in life. For Christian believers, the redemption of the wreckage associated with suffering is ultimately linked to their redemption in Christ and their ongoing relationship with Him and His people.
