Jean Pierre Camus
Jean Pierre Camus was a 16th century French Bishop who wrote fiction and works on spirituality. Camus' writings reflect his strong convictions about poverty, grace and spiritual reflection. Camus became a follower of St Francis de Sales and spent time giving speeches about his works. St Francis was Bishop in Geneva, Switzerland. He worked to convert Protestants back to Catholicism and was an accomplished preacher. He is known for his writings on the topic of spiritual direction and spiritual formation.
