Lybeck majored in the fields of pastoral theology, biblical studies and Christian education; attaining a pastoral theology diploma from Central Pentecostal College, a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies degree from Dallas Bible College and a Master of Arts in Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.
