Twenty years into the future, Dr. Harry Saul agrees to be cloned. The experiment re-shapes his life and character. The implanted egg is gestated by Pam Rubin, a lesbian psychiatrist. Author William Goldsmith is a psychiatrist with a practice in Los Angeles. He retired as a flight surgeon in the Air National Guard and is a veteran of three wars.
