Author L C J Emery has created a story of endless possibilities with Fax and the Infinite Time Consortium: Methiemauritania. Fax is a somewhat troubled character, trapped with his own virtualness. It is the job of Methiemauritania, a timeless and intriguing being from the center of the Earth, to release him. Methie, the reason behind everything, is scared for her own future. She lives in a realm beyond lightning and fire, beyond wind and rain, where time is no longer the master. She doesn't understand the things human do, as she is an entity conscious of a multidimensional universe. Narrated by Gilbert Barranara, this story is said to be written fourteen billion years in the future - or fourteen billion years of dimensional change - as Methie had convinced Gilbert that there is no such thing as time. The characters' main goal is to try to save intelligence. Methie lived in the nuclear furnace at the heart of the Earth since its formation. At first as if a baby, she knew not even her name. She was alone without thought and simply just existed. But like a caterpillar, she was starting to bloom, getting stronger and stronger as the thousands of years turned into millions, and the millions turned into billions, she was able to think for herself. Her conscious power beamed through the magma and rocks into the atmosphere. Her biggest fear is that she will lose her power of thought.
