No matter where home is in the galaxy, when younglings don't listen to oldster parents their escapades sometimes turn into daunting adventures. It's no different on the planet Starshine. Five tales relate courage discovered, wrongs righted, and life's lessons learned. Starshine is a dying desert world. But in a single canyon, green forests and crystal waters remain to sustain the tiny elfin creatures known as Eldarians, the squat and blocky Grumbledums, and the lumbering Sludgemuckers. In these tales, eleven youngling characters portray the author's eight grandchildren and three honorary grandchildren.
