On February 16, 2009, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took my precious Jean to Heaven to be with Him forever. For six years, she fought a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. We hope to encourage those who are now facing this same challenge to never give up! It is not easy, but with God nothing is impossible. I felt so bad for Jean, but there was no denying that her perpetual smile and glow was due to what she saw beyond this life. I saw the power of God as he touched the hearts of those who spent time with her. She is no longer a captive of Alzheimer's; she has won the battle. She is now waiting for the day our Lord will also call me home when I too can complete what I was called to do. He has the perfect plan and purpose for each one of us.
