This is a story about a man by the name of Frank Witt, his wife Ophelia, their family, and people they knew, loved and loved to talk about. It?s a book of true stories that begin during hard times on Horse Lick Creek in Jackson County, Kentucky. I am telling these stories the way my family, friends, and I recall them. These stories may or may not be exactly the way they were told, but they are all real and true stories, some even include a dose of good clean humor.
