As For Me and My House was written as a tool to help families come together in God's Word. It is intended to provide the means for a father to step into the role of being a spiritual leader within his home by offering 52 weekly meditations as a guide for his use. Each week's scriptural reference and meditation contains daily questions for each member of the family to answer and discuss at the family's weekly gathering. Each scriptural lesson is written with the struggles and hardships of today's world in mind which will hopefully allow each member of the family to connect with it. If used as instructed, this book will cause each member of a family to be mindful of the same spiritual lesson every day for an entire year, hopefully creating a spiritual unity and bond within the family. J. Gene Vargas was born in Washington DC and raised in Europe. He has resided in Northern Nevada since 1980. In 1996 he founded Followers Christian Fellowship (Luke 9:23), a small non-denominational church. Since becoming a Christian in 1981, he has always possessed a deep yearning to both live the high standard of God in Christ and to encourage it in others.
