A graduate of the University of Delaware and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, he works as a teacher, fine artist, writer, illustrator and singer/songwriter. Alan's inspirations come from personal experiences with family and friends, the natural world and his Christian faith. His work exists as a vehicle for communication, a mirror of self-reflection and a playground for the mind.
