(Janell Waldrop-Watkins), author of the Jett Blakemore series of action/adventure Christian novels, has been writing most of her life. She tries to portray her Christian characters as standing strong in the face of adversity and danger. Though her characters are very human and frequently make mistakes, they always eventually repent and do the right and godly thing. Mrs. Watkins is known, not only for her humor, but also for the fact that her writings are family-oriented and free of bad language. "I don't want to write anything that I wouldn't want my grandchildren to read," she says. She lives in Arkansas.
