Diane was born to Norman and Patricia (Troxell) Ranker on March 4, 1958. She has been married to Mark F. Riesen for 44 years. She has lived the majority of her life in her hometown of Tiffin, Ohio, where she was awarded the city title of Poet Laureate.




Diane's books are all inspirational. She has used her writings to try and comfort others during times of sorrow, grief, and all the pains that come in life. She shares them freely in many forms and groups. Diane prays that any piece of work you read from her will give you some sense of Christian peace and comfort. God was, is, and always will be the source of her words.
