Debra Moffitt lives in a church-based community and spends her time at church or at other church functions. Everyone in her home also contributes to the church community. She takes pride in her Native American heritage as she is half Eskimo from her father's side. She previously spent six years on a Native American reservation. Her mind was on her tribe as she wrote this poetry collection.
