God's one and only theme from the beginning to end of the Bible is love for the people He calls His own. He continually promises His love and protection to those who will follow Him in obedience. He repeatedly reminds us of the need for repentance when there is turning away from Him into sin. Forgiveness is freely extended if there is wholehearted turning from sin. The great mystery is why He loves us so completely even when He knows we will fall away again.

This is our God: faithful in His promises to us when we are stubbornly unfaithful. He does not change. His decrees and conditions for blessing those who love Him and believe in His son Jesus have never changed. When we love Him, living by his standards is something we want to embrace. We desire deeper understanding to how we can live a Godlier life.
