There has been a cycle of human civilizations rising, falling and rising once again, over the course of our existence on this planet. Main stream archeologists, paleontologists and historians have, for the most part, ignored the remains of these past societies, as such information does not fit into currently accepted beliefs. Groundhog Day (yes, after the movie of the same name, where the protagonist lives the same day over, again and again, for a near infinite number of times) examines what evidence is out there which indicates such is the case.
