Symbolic Logic for High School Douglass McFerran

Professor McFerran has been teaching logic at the college level for more than fifty years. During that time he has published several books presenting a formal logic using a postfix literal notation and a natural deduction proof system. This new workbook is intended for high school students and presents special techniques to advance a skill in critical reasoning. It may also prove useful for college classes in critical thinking as well as being the first part of a transferable college course in symbolic logic, to be supplemented with a conversion to a standard notation and additional material on two-place predicates.
