This book is a photo rendering of the some of the beautiful things in Delta Colorado. The Confluence Lake, wildlife like geese, ducks, and deer that roam freely even in town. From the north with the Confluence Lake, PowWow Arbor, Ute Council Tree, to the south with Sweitzer Lake State Park the sights are unending. The changing weather, the artistry of the mesas, lakes, and surrounding as clouds shift and creative varied sights each day. When coming to Delta Colorado in 2015 Virginia was captivated with the wonderous beauty that was all around. She discovered a family history from Alexander Lake and Lodge on the Grand Mesa to Cedaredge, Hotchkiss, Paonia with her Great-Great Grandfather John Turner (founding the Excelsior Orchard and the Turner Ditch), and Delta starting in the late 1800's. There are many more adventures waiting, keep your eyes open as you never know what you will see!
