David Damian Figueroa grew up listening to his mother's dichos, Mexican folk sayings, as well as her favorite American quotes. They were her way of teaching him what mattered, and they extolled the value of hard work and common sense. Over the years, he developed his own habit of writing down quick thoughts and favorite sayings. In this volume of quotes, thoughts on life, and personal wisdom, he pays tribute to his mother's memory and passes on his own dose of guidance.
