In the river town of Stillwater, Minnesota, Roger, an easy-going graphic designer, and Rita, a strong independent software developer, are co-workers who fight their attraction while working together on a project. But they each have a plan to make it work only to see both fail. In the not so small state border town, the two spend a year together watching the seasons and their hearts change with a helping hand from the Stillwater Historic Lift Bridge.
