Ronen Haven has never been a stranger to the bottom of the food chain. Since childhood he's been forced to walk through life being seen as nothing more than a weakling. Everything from his stressful student life to the consistent threats of his classmates leaves him drained each and every day without fail. No matter what, he never seems to escape the daily challenges, forced to view himself as nothing more than a powerless nobody walking in the shadow of society. That however, was before the Guardian gene was unlocked. After a freak accident, Ronen finds himself face to face with a savage monster inhabiting his body. He has no knowledge of what this power is, nor how to control it. When he is sought out by a team of agents just like him though, a glimmer of hope appears. He thought he was normal. Now Ronen can only wish to learn how to control the beast inside him before the darkness closes in.
