Rocky began life in a teddy bear factory as part of a special program for less fortunate kids. Little did anyone know that tiny Carol Ann would need Rocky so desperately. She is extra scared, and the monsters come for her. With the help of the mice who live in the walls, the Cardinals that live in the attic, the ornaments on the Christmas tree, the Mary nightlight in the bathroom, two other stuffed animals, and the mysterious Cat, they fend off the shadows. Until Carol Ann disappears! Rocky must go into the shadow world itself because the monsters are the only link to Carol Ann. Can Rocky traverse the shadow world of dark closets and beneath beds to find her in time, or is it too late?
