This is a collection of stories that I have written from my years of learning what it means to truly be apart of the Native American Culture. I have a Associate Degree in American Indian Studies and I continue to learn what the culture is all about. Through these stories I hope to bring to life the type of life that Native Americans have suffered and I hope that the reader can appreciate how Natives have thrived to overcome the stereotype's that they have been labeled for many years. To be able to express through my writing's I have discovered my own way in life and my hope is that the reader will not stick those label's to Natives anymore. To see Natives as true human beings and not what European settlers have labeled Natives for centuries, they walk among us and are here to stay.
