Sergeant Jeremy Dropsky and his orange tabby Dez are back to sleuthing in Beloit, Wisconsin. This time they investigate the murder of a shady Chicago businessman found dead in front of Beloit's famed Angel Museum. The neurotic but brilliant Jeremy, his feline alter-ego Dez, and Jeremy's sharp new partner Abe Woodruff are sure that the location of the corpse, in front of a museum devoted to angels, is the key to entire mystery. It is only after a wild and wooly chase--which includes a zany trip to Janesville, a tough interrogation in Barrington, and a perilous visit to Roscoe-that they find the truth about "the deadest angel in Beloit."
