When a person dies in a haunted place, he or she can be resurrected by the spirits inhabiting that physical space. They become a paranormal entity with bizarre, diverse, lethal superhuman abilities based on the nature of their death. Their soul is forced to take on the burden of a person's worst memories and most awful feelings. Some are strong enough to rise above the inclination to cruelty and retain their sanity, morality, and what's left of their human soul; others are not. Fifteen-year-old Victoria, upon escaping from her cruel and sadistic Revenant captor, finds herself soon immersed in the seedy underground supernatural world he'd come from. The Pravus, the city of Revenants claimed by the Revenant terrorist organization, the Grey Lily, awaits her. Witches, werewolves, vampires, and Revenants, both friend and foe, greet her as she continues her quest to understand her new state of being.
