This story is different from all the other books; This is a personal experience with my dog Blacky, when we were young. Without him in my life, I am sure that my life would not have been as meaningful nor would I have become who I am today. It is a true story and will be up close and personal, showing hardship, compassion and realities of life. It is inspired by that great companion, Blacky, who gave me strength; may it inspire you when life seems unfair or particularly difficult. A story of companionship and devotion between a boy and his dog. It begins a long time ago, over sixty five years ago to be exact. The boy would be 72 now. He met the puppy as a small boy.
