As a single woman with no children, Nicole longed for something meaningful ... something far more interesting than the latest seasonal trends. And it was this emptiness, along with her prayer to receive the Holy Spirit, that led her into a local animal shelter where she met and adopted Lavender, a black and brilliant (talking) cat.
