In the aftermath, we are all affected by what happened, and children especially, may lack the words to express their heightened feelings of restlessness, confusion and vulnerability.

How has the pandemic affected our children? Despite parent's best efforts, the changes in our lives bought about by the virus impacted who we saw, what we did, and how we felt. Our children absorbed and experienced the impact the pandemic had on our daily lives, our ability to be together with family and friends, and to celebrate rituals and holiday celebrations. As life as we previously knew it resumes, we need to address the feelings of our young people, to allow them to reflect and gain a sense of closure in order to feel safe and secure in G-d's Hands.
