Black Kid Magic, Young, Gifted and Black and Making History: Boys' Edition, highlights the unique gifts, talents, and contributions that young black people are making in their communities ...and even the world!



This edition focuses on 12 boys of various ages who are making a difference as authors, activists, entrepreneurs, inventors, and motivational speakers, just to name a few. Each boy started with an interest, a dream, or saw a need in their community and didn't let age hinder them from exploring further. As a result, they are now living their dreams and inspiring other young people to follow their lead.



Our hope is that a new generation of young readers, who are gifted and black...and who hear their stories, will also be inspired to not only dream but to use their gifts and ideas to make history!
