Three Theses - Drei ThesenProposition 1: What appears in the world as a progress is in the church often a step back, and vice versa. These 1: Was in der Welt als Fortschritt gilt, ist in der Kirche oft Rückschritt, und umgekehrt. Proposition 2: The consumptive societies are compelled from the outside to eco-dictatorship, if they do not develop from within a culture of renunciation. These 2: Die konsumtiven Gesellschaften werden von außen zur Ökodiktatur gezwungen, wenn sie nicht von innen eine Kultur des Verzichtes entwickeln. Proposition 3: The Evangelical Counsels are already found in the Old Testament. But they only become clear in the New Testament. They are a necessary sacrifice of life, which nevertheless can not be demanded necessarily. These 3: Die Evangelischen Räte finden sich schon im Alten Testament. Doch erst im Neuen werden sie klar: Sie sind ein notwendiges Opfer des Lebens, das dennoch nicht notwendig gefordert werden kann.
