Twenty year old farm girl Roziland Cain has never gone further than Toledo. Looking for adventure and a little romance she defies her father and enlists in the newly created Women's Army Corp. World War II is coming to an end but the cold war is just getting started. Assigned to the typist pool in Wiesbaden, Germany, Roziland's life changes when she is summoned in the middle of the night to type a classified document for a General on the move. When the courier is delayed, Roziland must deliver the document herself. A chance encounter with a a foreign operative leads Roziland to put two and two together and she is soon reassigned to the Office of Strategic Services. Tasked with assisting Eastern Block scientists and their families to defect to the west, Roziland must use all her wits to stay under the radar of not only the Russians, but also the other WACs in her unit who are unaware of her new mission.
