This study guide prepares you for the FCC Amateur Radio General Class license examination. The General Class examination is the second step in the amateur radio licensing process. The guide goes through each of the questions in the license question pool with each chapter covering one of the ten license question areas. For each question, the guide provides the question and the correct answer along with an explanation for the correct answer. Additionally, the guide explains why many of the distraction answers are incorrect. The questions are valid from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2023. Each chapter starts with relevant background information, tables, and figures to help with understanding the topics in the chapter. Through the questions and answers, you will learn more about the regulations governing radio communications, good amateur practice in the operating modes, and some basic math and electronics for radio.
