When Australian florist Casey Mason heads to California to visit her sister for the holidays, the idea of having a fling with a rugged American cowboy intrigues her; but when the first cowboy she meets is the excessively clean-cut cousin of her sister's fiancé, she regrets having ever entertained that particular fantasy.



Nick Gold hasn't met his future wife yet, but he's certain about the kind of woman she'll be; nurturing, feminine, and definitely blonde. Yet when Casey, an auburn-haired Amazon Woman with attitude, arrives for the holidays he finds himself drawn to her despite her tattoos and prickly temperament. Confused, he tells himself it's only because he wants to shake some sense into her.



When a secret kept for over a hundred years emerges, Casey and Nick are thrown together with a common goal-to unravel the mystery. While working on the mystery they begin to discover the true versions of each other, but with the holidays rapidly coming to an end, will these two opposites get past their differences before Casey returns to Australia?
