Carley is a little green grasshopper who lives in the meadow with her family. She has always been told that green grasshoppers should never play with orange grasshoppers, but she doesn't know why. What is she to do when she meets a new friend, Julia, who is an orange grasshopper? Julia faces the same problem. Should she tell her family about her new friend, Carley?



Carley and Julia decide to ask Granny, who is a wise old grasshopper. She tells them the story of how the dislike between green and orange grasshoppers first began. And she tells them what they can do to end the problems.
