Do You Want to Be Free? You can be delivered! There is healing for a hurting heart. When you feel pain, it's hard to see the light, or see how the experience fits into the bigger picture of things. You become overtaken by the trauma and even the drama associated with your experiences. At a very young age, God taught me that the struggles in our lives are opportunities for us to be healed and made whole. Like so many young women, I found myself looking for love in all the wrong places. Life Guarantees Disappointments Understand this: whenever we stray away from our upbringing and our parents' advice, the devil has traps waiting for us. I say that because I ended up in a relationship that took my life into a direction that I never imagined going in.
I believe that everyone makes mistakes, and often, it is not the mistakes that define a person's character, but what they do afterward. I hoped in my heart that this man would redeem himself, be accountable for his actions, and work for my forgiveness. I hung on to the faith that he would step up to be the man I thought he was. But he didn't. And I found myself needing to be healed, instead.
