Have you ever felt like God has called you to step out on faith? Maybe God has given you the vision to start that business plan, write that book, launch that ministry, record that song, or forgive that person who hurt you. You start to put plans in motion only to have them come to a quick halt!



Anxiety, fear, and doubt sets in and you begin to question, "Did I really hear God correctly? How can I do this without the funds, resources, contacts, degree, time, etc.?" Let us also not forget about the people in your ear telling you that you are crazy and asking what will happen if you fail! Very quickly, the feelings of excitement and confidence turn to apprehension. The vision is put back on the shelf but always remains in the back of your mind.

Erin Lonon knows all too well what it means to be given a vision by God which is too vast for her to understand. However, when she tells God that this would be her "Year of Obedience," she has to do what Abraham did, and take a step of faith into a journey that only God could show her. Erin writes openly about her "Year of Obedience" and the struggles she faced but how, like Abraham, she ultimately saw the promise fulfilled in the end.
