William A. Dockery is a former High School teacher and second generational Pastor of Memorial Temple Christian Ministries since 1992, succeeding his father Bishop James A. Dockery.

In 1998, he began the implementation of his vision - the construction of a Community Center in his father's honor. Hence, the completion of the James A. Dockery Community Center, Inc. in September 2000. The James A. Dockery Community Center is a 24,500 square foot building located on the site of Memorial Temple Christian Ministries. Housed within the center is Community Action Organization Head Start, and various community programs.

William has traveled extensively in missions proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ from Moscow Russia to the Ukraine, the Provinces of Cameroon in West Africa, South Africa, the Dominican Republic, and Juarez Mexico to mention some areas of travel.

William A. Dockery is a Permanent Member of Leadership Buffalo and the founder and Presiding Apostle of Covenant Ministries International, Inc. Which is comprised of a Network of Churches, Para-Ministries, and Apostolic / Prophetic Leaders with a vision of transforming society, by expanding the Kingdom of God through net-working with National and International Multicultural Ministries.
