This collection of poetry speaks of a new chapter in my life. Having come out of the darkness of loss it was time to navigate the world without my dearest Lee and now even my beloved dog, Millie.

Interacting alone in this new landscape, which was often unfamiliar and not particularly friendly at times, proved to be a challenge and one in which I was not always up for.

The poems reflect this new journey, where loneliness stalks and the possibility of new love brought only unrequited love, where treading nature's seasons brings a new appreciation for what each offers, a pandemic survived alone, and other observations of life made through new eyes.
