About the Author


Lynda Nabayiinda Were is a microbiologist turned Customer Experience Professional for the last nineteen years. She holds a master's degree in Financial Management from Uganda Management Institute. She attained the Competent Communicator and Leadership Award from Toastmasters International and is currently a senior executive in a leading telecom company in Uganda. She served on the executive committees of Toastmasters and Rotary International Uganda Chapters, and is a board member of an orphanage, a vocational school, and a book club patron. As the co-founder of Ascenify Uganda a management and consultancy firm, she mentors and trains individuals, social groups, and organizations on Customer Experience, Financial Literacy, Personal Effectiveness, and Leadership Skills. She lives in Kampala, Uganda, with her husband and three daughters, and enjoys watching family movies, reading novels, gardening, and traveling.
