No matter how nobel are the intentions, no matter how saintly the recipient of good deed, nobody can say what is truly in the ind of the giver. Who knows how quickly the simple desire to beat the system, to level the playing field, drives a person to the unthinkable. Are we born evil - or, like greatness, as the saying goes, do we have evil thrust upon us? The brothers were so similar in some ways, but so very different in the all ways that really matter. And it is surely always just a question of time before the dirt rises to the surface and becomes evident for all to see . The bigger question here was would it be evident in time or would the revelation come too late to save the guilty and the innocent alike?
