My Jewish Roots attempts to "connect the dots" between all the Old Testament stories and heroes for kids showing them the "big picture" of their significance to us as born again believers. Too often, when we tell our children the famous Bibles stories of the Old Testament, they do not make the connection between them and Jesus. They have zero understanding or our Jewish roots biblically or historically. This series of lessons explains those connections from both a biblical and historical perspective. Well known Bible teacher, Derek Prince, author of "The Destiny of Israel and the Church" wrote, "You cannot fully understand the Bible unless you know something about Israel. And if you are confused about Israel, you are confused about the Bible." He continues, "We owe the Jewish people an enormous debt. Without them, the church would have no patriarchs, no prophets, no apostles, no Bible, and no Savior."A love for Israel begins in childhood.
