JoSam and Sarah Kelly bought a farm in eastern Kentucky from a young man, Jeff Cramer, without seeing the property. They lived in West Virginia where JoSam found work in the coal mines. Sarah always had a fear for his safety so after he escaped the last cave-in, she would have moved anywhere to get away from the mines. Jeff Cramer didn't tell them much about the property, especially Old Indian Jobe and the curse that was put on the land by his Great Grandfather or why. Cramer swore he would never return to the valley, but he did. He made one last trip.
