Yevsey Tseytlin is a prominent Russian-born culturologist, writer, literary critic and scholar. Prior to the collapse of the USSR, he was a member of the Soviet Writers' Union and taught college courses on literature and cultural history. For the past fifteen years has been editor of a Chicago based newspaper. His books were published in Russia, the United States, Lithuania, and Germany.
